Senior Operations Manager/Senior DevOps Manager

PDM is becoming the most trusted source of information for an entire industry concerning product data, inventory information, pricing, and market stats. Thousands of sources are getting reconciled, continuously updated, and made available in flexible formats, curated to the individual information consumer. The necessity for a seamless flow of billions of data points, which are all related to another, and need to be available to search in real-time, presents technical challenges you will be tackling.

You will be joining as a key role in a young, highly recognized SaaS startup. After two funding rounds, backing by a Seattle VC, and experiencing exponential demand, we are looking for a seasoned Senior Operations Manager/Senior DevOps Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be a driver in decisions around our tech stack and DevOps topics. You will be responsible for the entire operational infrastructure of all PDM Automotive products. You will be fulfilling a leadership role in the company, reporting directly to the CTO.

lead the entire organization in implementing and supporting modern operations and DevOps processes and systems.
manage and lead the operations organization and centralized tooling team (owner of tools such as CI/CD pipelines, test frameworks, development tools, etc.).
build and maintain a modern operations environment using technologies such as: services/microservices, containers/Docker, Kubernetes, SQL and NoSQL databases, CI/CD.
conduct game days in production, Chaos testing, and similar processes and systems.
manage an operations risk assessment and management plan.
lead and champion the roadmap for the operational infrastructure for the product and company.
make operational vision, strategy, and roadmap recommendations and decisions to executive leadership.
champion operational modernization and transformation initiatives as the company grows and matures.

10-15 years experience in operations, DevOps of modern web applications and SaaS applications.
have built and operated a cloud-native infrastructures on AWS.
have experience in leading medium sized operational organizations through growth, hiring, training, and retention.
have leadership experience in cybersecurity, cloud computing, and dynamic/scalable application operation.
have the proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across teams.
have experience building and operating application analytics, infrastructure analytics, application reporting, and logging infrastructures.
have implemented a state-of-the-art operations and DevOps process and procedure.
